Prayer warriors are people who are known for having power with God through prayer.  And because they have power with God they will have power with men; not because of themselves but because of God who has seen fit to use them because of their life of prayer.  The ministry of the prayer warrior includes regularly interceding on behalf of others before God.

To intercede means to come between, so prayer warriors are those who like priest have their face before God and their backs to the people.  Prayer warriors are those who stand in the gap between God and the people they are praying for.  Many in scripture were mightily used of God as God heard their prayers, and there prayers were answered.
